THANK YOU for agreeing to act as a conductor/clinician at our ATSSB All-Region 3 clinic and concert!
By now you should have received copies of past programs.We need the titles of the pieces you plan to do and a brief biography about yourself before December 10th to make our printed program deadline.This program is prepared and printed without cost to us, and our sponsors have requested that we have this information to them by the deadline.Biography lengths have usually been approximately 50 words.
We also need a list of your percussion needs.We will be hosting four bands simultaneously and will need to bring in many items, and search for unusual items.
If your host is to find music for you, please allow him/her enough time.If your host is filling folders for you, please indicate your preferences on balance of parts.
Each band will have itÕs own clinician host in addition to the host school band director.I, the clinician host will take care of all your needs.I have included my contact information.
If you are making a folder see the attached list for instrumentation.I will make stand name signs for each student in your band.You will receive a map to the school and your first rehearsal area, if not already included in this mailing.
You will receive a complimentary CD recording of the concert.CD will be delivered to the home address listed on your original contract unless you notify me otherwise.Delivery time is approximately 60-90 days after the concert.
Rehearsal times are posted on the web pages of the bands (www.atssb.org/region3) Noon hour on Saturday is free pizza and drinks for everyone on site.The High School bands need to finish one half hour before the first middle school concert in order to see younger siblings in the first MS performance.
