F Horn Errata, Year C
The ATSSB Executive Committee voted to approve the following errata for F Horn, Year C. Unfortunately, an email sent to the membership recently had the articulation reversed. Note that it is slur two, tongue two in measure 30.
Pages 38-39, #52 Allegro vivace q = 92-104
Play all of page 38 and first six lines of page 39.
Known Errata:
1. Measure 13, second 16th note should be a C# (the remaining C‘s in
the measure are C natural).
2. Measure 30 articulation should be slur two, tongue two.

Use Year C in the Prescribed Audition List for auditions in 2008-09 |
SAL UPDATED 10-2-07
The Suggested Audition List for Middle School auditions has been updated. The Year B Combined Percussion etudes are listed in error. The mallet etude was listed as #I on page 81 but should read #XXIII Marcia on page 81 (play all) with tempo marking of quarter note = 60-76.
The reasoning behind this is that Year B mallets are
the primary instrument so must play a more difficult piece (they play a
much simpler piece in Year A and Year C).
