1. The All-Region Mariachi will consist of three groups with the following instrumentation:

2 – Guitars 2 – Male Vocalists
1 - Harp 2 - Female Vocalists

High School Group II—Repertoire will be selected after tryouts from group II vocalists personal repertoire plus two instrumental selections.
Items to bring: pencils, highlighters, extra set of strings, rosin, valve oil, picks,
straps/thalis and personal tuners.
*Note: Each student must have their own traje with sombreros (if possible) for the concert.
Please make sure that all the botonaduras are in place and not broken or hanging.
Wear your traje with pride! Shirts pressed, botines shined…etc.

· The songs on the CD are only to be used as a reference. The tryout music is not necessarily written exactly as heard on the CD. The audition music must be performed as written. The vocalists, however, are allowed to ad lib. The vocal lead sheets (when available) are also to be used as a reference only. The vocal pistas on the CD will be the same ones used at the audition.
