All-Region Jazz Auditions

Online entry deadline is September 20, 2011; there will be a late and final due date September 27, 2011 with penalties attached per Region rules

Auditions will be held at The Kinkaid School Tuesday, October 4, 2011, beginning at 5:00 PM

All-Region Band Auditions

Online entry deadline is October 22, 2011; there will be a late and final due date October 29, 2011 with penalties attached per Region rules

Auditions will be November 5, 2011, at Bellville High School

Judges' Meeting 9:30 a.m. followed by Junior High auditions. HS auditions to follow no earlier than 2:00 p.m. with another judges' Meeting at 1:30 p.m.

Entries are due through the TMEA website. Hard copies of ATSSB membership card, fee payments, and copies of your entries are to be postmarked by the deadline for each contest (forms are found on the TMEA website after you enter your students). Make checks out to ATSSB Region 23 and mail to:

All-Region Clinic-Concert

November 12, 2011, at the Kinkaid School.

Rehearsals start at 9:00 a.m. and the concert will be at 6:00 p.m. in the Kinkaid Brown Auditorium. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.

Middle School clinician Robert Hastings.

High School clinician will be David R. Holsinger.

You will need SmartMusic to play the file ($36 per year for students, $140 per year for teachers). Open it, select solo track, unselect accompaniment track, then play.
