Financial Report
Discussion ensued over financial split between the two regions.43% will be transferred to the new region.Monies will be transferred on June 2nd.The new band will be changed to Citizen’s Bank in Grand Saline.
Proposed Calendar
Late S/E will be held at Rockwall Heath.Kyle will contact Lonny Baker about NTHB.Kyle will decide who will host HS All Region.Soundpost music festival will be held on the 4th, 5th, and 6th of May next year.CCMF in Mabank will be on Oct. 14th and their S/E will be held on March 1st.
Dale Coates makes a motion to accept the amended calendar and Rob Toupes 2nds.Motion passes.

David Landry discusses the website and getting it updated.
Rob Toupes makes a motion to charge finance committee with the responsibility of coming together updating the itemization of financial responsibilities.Dale 2nds and motion passes.
Rob makes a motion to reimburse David Landry for the purchase of a laptop, in the amount of $992.00, which will then belong to Region 3.
Rommel Cordova 2nds and motion passes.
All Region Bands
Rob Toupes passes out a recommendation for instrumentation for next year’s All Region Bands.
HS symphonic band will have 66 members instead of 100.
HS concert band will have 87 members instead of 100.
Both MS bands will have 76 members instead of 83.
The topic was discussed and issued to be tabled until the end of the meeting.

MS Region Audition Process
Assigning audition times for students were discussed in order to cut down on confusion and bullying.This would include exceptions for extreme circumstances for time.Rob Toupes makes a motion to assign times, motion is 2nded, motion passed.
Changes to audition music were discussed.
New Business
Clinicians that will be used this year were discussed.
Kyle will discuss Region Jazz Audition recordings with John Young to decide who will do them.
The Discussion of new instrumentation for the All Region bands was reopened.
There will be one Barry Sax, one Timpani player, and one Eb Clarinet player in each of the HS bands.The ones in the concert bands will still be eligible for area.
There will be 2 of each of the double reed instruments in the MS bands.
Monte Ashcraft makes a motion to accept new numbers and instrumentation and Dale Coates 2nds.Motion passed.
