1)Ý Region 9 is using the SAL for our JH auditions.Ý Please note that we are using year B.Ý

2)Ý Students only need to prepare the first 3 lines of each etude along with all of the scales for Middle School auditions.

3)Ý Students only need to prepare the first 5 lines of each etude along with all of the scales for High School auditions.Ý The scales we are using are the same scales we have used in the past.Ý I have sent an email to all of you with the scales in case you have misplaced yours.Ý Please send me an email if you did not receive yours.

4)Ý Register your students for region band auditions on the TMEA website before the deadline of October 12.Ý Your check must be postmarked by the 19^th.

5)Ý The audition material for JH percussion is the combined percussion list from the SAL.

6)Ý When registering yourself online, remember to use Region 9 as your region.
