2026-2027 Dates
JAZZ ENSEMBLE
- Jazz Region Auditions – must take place between the second Saturday in September and the third Saturday in October.
- Jazz Area Auditions – recordings are to be uploaded to the TMEA server immediately after region jazz auditions, but no later than 11:59 PM on the third Saturday of October. Students will be recorded directly into the website. Adjudication is to take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026

ALL-STATE CLINIC: February 10-13, 2027, at Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center, San Antonio
- Concert Band – Jeremy Strickland, Tyler Junior College
- Symphonic Band – Robert Sheldon, Composer and Clinician

- Jazz Ensemble – John Wojciechowski, Woodwind Artist, Composer and Educator
- Premier performance of UNTITLED by John Wojciechowski (commissioned by ATSSB)
ALL-STATE CONCERTS: Saturday, February 13, 2027, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio
- Concert Band at 9:00 AM – Symphonic Band after the Concert Band in the Lila Cockrell Theatre
- Jazz Ensemble at 1:00 in the Hemisfair Ballroom 1 of the Convention Center
- ATSSB All-State Percussion Ensemble time and location TBA
