UIL Letter to ATSSB Members

Dear ATSSB Membership,

We thought it might be helpful to share the following information with you as you prepare for the 21-22 school year.

  1. At this time we expect all UIL processes to return to pre-pandemic formatting for the 21-22 school year. Any exceptions will be posted atwww.uiltexas.org and communicated as they become available.
  1. Go to https://www.uiltexas.org/policy/2021-22-policy-info/2021-2022-uil-risk-mitigation-guidelines for the most current UIL Covid-related risk mitigation guidelines for the 21-22 school year. Any updates will be maintained at this link as they become available.
  1. Go to https://www.uiltexas.org/policy/2021-22-policy-info for information regarding marching band pre-participation physical exams and the extension of marching band visual fundamental time from 10 hours to 20 hours prior to August 1 in the summer of 2021. 
  1. The marching band safety training, required by state law to be taken annually by all marching band instructors, will open sometime this week athttps://www.uiltexas.org/music/marching-band-safety-training.
